[FIXED] 12.0.901 does not auto-reload when closing popup

NoScript 12.0.901
Firefox 133.0.3
new profile
STR:
1) visit any site that behaves visibly differently when a site is allowed vs when it's not allowed, e.g.
https://maone.net/
2) NoScript popup > set maone.net to (Temp.) Trusted
3) close NoScript popup by clicking off of it
Expected results: webpage should reload with script allowed
Actual results: nothing seems to happen? Reloading the page manually is required to produce the expected outcome.

This has been happening for a long time (periodically, no pattern has been noticed).
I hoped it was just me.
Now I specifically tried it on several pages - all of them reloaded after changing permissions.
UPD: 2024-12-19
The
https://poketube.fun/watch?v=Fbm0h6BbeOU&quality=medium page does not reload when changing the MEDIA restriction for
https://qtc.ggt.bz
UPD2: Sometimes what therube wrote below also happens: the top-level scripts resolution changed, the page reloaded, but the icon in the panel didn't change.

@barbaz, could not confirm.
FF 115, NoScript 12.0.901
Though I have been seeing oddities, I think.
Like times where I've disabled scripting, yet the NoScript icon &/or drop down remain unchanged.
This forum.
Allow informaction.com
- with that "icons" appear
Revoke
- with that icons still appear
You have to do a hard refresh on the page to make the icons go away.
(At this point, unsure what the behavior was in 11.5.x?
In SeaMonkey, NoScript 5.x, the icons appear or not based upon JS setting.)
(I also have uBlock Origin, Firefox Color, & Download Grab [extensions] running.)

That's expected behavior. The webfont providing those icons has been cached and is being loaded entirely from cache. No request for the webfont = nothing to block.

A user from another forum writes that the page sometimes does not auto-reload if the following is checked: Per-site Permissions -> List full addresses…
I haven't noticed such a correlation.

I'm pretty sure I saw, on initial "load" of 12.x, oddities.
I'm kind of the
opinion that while these newfangled extensions are restartless, they do/may require an actual browser restart.
(And that said, I have not restarted FF [really ?], since 11-29-2024, & didn't put in 12.x till just the other day.)
Maybe my "oddities" were,
viewtopic.php?t=27242, but I'm kind of thinking not.
Anyhow, since my very first interactions with 12.x, I haven't caught any other oddities.

Weird, now I can't confirm this either?

Same Firefox 133.0.3 / NoScript 12.0.901 combination is now behaving as expected, in both clean profile and my main profile. Guess this wasn't a NoScript issue even though I have no idea what external factor(s) could have caused it

Thank you, Giorgio.
