If JS blocked, if same site open in mulitple tabs, if Allow, should other tabs reflect the Allow

Post by therube »

If JavaScript is blocked for a site, say information.com, if I have multiple tabs (pages) open to informaction.com, if I (Temporarily) Allow informaction.com in one of those tabs, if I jump to a different informaction.com tab, should that tab, the NoScript icon, reflect that informaction.com is Allowed (even though I did not effect the change in that particular tab)?

(You would think I should know that answer, heh.)

I'm seeing the latter behavior.
(As it is, a simple Refresh of the page, the NoScript icon the displays correctly.)
Seems 11.5.1rc4 behaves the same way, so I guess that has always been the behavior?

12.0.901, Win7, FF 115 ESR, & I did (now) enable List Full Address in Permissions popup

(NoScript Classic, 5.1.9, I see the former behavior.)

Nope.

The NoScript icon reflects the effective permissions for a tab. Since the Allow was never effected in that tab, the NoScript icon for that tab should be reflecting the old (not Allowed) permissions.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
