When resetting NoScript I observed:

1. The settings differ from a fresh install.
2. NoScript is no longer able to save any settings.

Fresh install, updating or importing (old) settings all work fine though.

Might that be This FAQ?

Sorry, no. I'm talking about the reset button next to the donate button and NoScript options/settings, not anything website related.

I assumed the reset button would set NoScript back to default options. However the options aren't exactly the same as when doing a fresh install and it doesn't save anything anymore afterwards (e.g. the exported options are missing the uuid; overrideTorBrowserPolicy is true instead of false, etc.).

Again it's not an issue for me but i don't think pressing the reset button should brake NoScript.

Confirmed. But after a browser restart the export file again matches the one from right after the fresh install.

Ah, ok. So the only thing I missed was that a browser restart is mandatory.

Suggestion: if it is mandatory to restart NoScript or even the browser after a reset the UI should probably tell the user to do so.
