Re: reset issues
Might that be This FAQ?
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0
Re: reset issues
Sorry, no. I'm talking about the reset button next to the donate button and NoScript options/settings, not anything website related.
I assumed the reset button would set NoScript back to default options. However the options aren't exactly the same as when doing a fresh install and it doesn't save anything anymore afterwards (e.g. the exported options are missing the uuid; overrideTorBrowserPolicy is true instead of false, etc.).
Again it's not an issue for me but i don't think pressing the reset button should brake NoScript.

Re: reset issues
Confirmed. But after a browser restart the export file again matches the one from right after the fresh install.guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:21 am The settings differ from a fresh install.
(The "us" link in that FAQ is broken.)
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

Re: reset issues
Ah, ok. So the only thing I missed was that a browser restart is mandatory.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:98.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/98.0
Re: reset issues
Suggestion: if it is mandatory to restart NoScript or even the browser after a reset the UI should probably tell the user to do so.
