Using FlashGot you usually don't need to: you just need to be logged in from Firefox (even with the "remember me" feature).
But right-click Copy or ctrl+C are not handled by FlashGot, see below.

Apparently FlashGet is unable to properly handle Hotfile downloads from itself (copy-based methods bypass FlashGot).
Your only option is using FlashGot's commands.

However, none of the above is a FlashGot bug: they're limitations of FlashGet's.
