Since my Hotmail account works but it seems Outlook is different (and currently inacessible to me), I've sent an email to my Hotmail lead at Microsoft (the one notifies me of changes in the whitelisting requirements) asking for help.

I am having the same problem. If I enable scripts globally, I still have a problem. If I disable NoScript (and restart) then I am able to access my outlook accounts normally.

Yahoo mail and GMail do not seem to be affected.

Fixed in latest development build 2.6.5.9 (notice it affected Nightly only).

Thanks a lot for your help from a big fan of NoScript and your work.

I am having the same problem - and have tried all suggested remedies. (Whitelisted Live.com, Outlook.com, gfx.ms, wxlrs.com, sfx.ms - upgrade to most recent version of NoScript - tried allowing scripts globally...)

I am on WaterFox 18.0.1

Any help would be appreciated.

Also tried in Firefox 20.0.1, and same result.

Just what is it that is not working for you?
What does or does not happen?

As a test, does it work in a new, clean Profile with only NoScript installed?

In outlook, I am not able to create outgoing messages. This is the case for both new messages, as well as replying to messages.

I am able to delete messages, change folders (for example, go to my junk folder)

When I click Help > Start with add-ons disabled, I am able to create new messages.

(I did not know how to create a new profile, but I googled it.) After creating a new profile, and installing NoScript, then loading up my Outlook, I was able to create new messages - however NoScript identified 2 scripts it was not previously picking up... Atdmt.com and Msads.net

When I went back to my old profile, I was then able to create new messages. It seems odd that creating a new profile and installing NoScript - then going back to my old profile would fix the problem - but apparently it has.

Thanks for your help.

It might have been a different add-on, for instance Adblock Plus.

If you click on Options > Embeddings
and then un check Forbid Microsoft Silverlight

you can now send emails via hotmail.com or outlook.com without issue.
So my next question is there a way to have this setting checked for all sites except hotmail.com or outlook.com ?

Are you comfortable editing about:config? (If you don't know what that is, then the answer is no)

noscript.allowedMimeRegExp allows you to set specific exceptions for this.

I have not been able to locate the file "noscript.allowedMimeRegExp" on my drive. What folder is it in and what entry do I make to the file.
Running No script 2.6.6.7

OK, so the answer to my question was "No". Sorry, but editing the settings in about:config is akin to editing your Windows registry: if you get it wrong, you could potentially trash your browser.

If you want to learn, though, then I'd suggest first reading through this.
