flashgot rapidly skips over dialog box

Hi!
I've got a weird problem with Flashgot that started suddenly apparently for no reason. When I try to download a file, Flashgot quickly displays the dialog box for selecting the download method, then immediately goes to the downloading software ( in this case, Internet Download Accelerator). There are some downloads that don't work with the download accelerator and I must download them with the browser downloader. But I can't select it because the selection dialog box only displays for a fraction of a second. I really rely on Flashgot and this problem has got me going crazy. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flashgot, but it didn't do any good. Can somebody help!

Options | Downloads | Autostart, perhaps?
