I recently reinstalled windows and firefox. For a while I forgot about noscript until I got a virus that downloaded using a script and afterwards I remembered noscript and installed it. The new version began playing an annoying sound every time it blocked a script on a website. So I went into the options and turned off the sound notifications. It continued to play sound notifications. So I turned it on again, and it still played the sounds. Off again, still with the sounds. I posted on the addon page before the developer said that the option worked for him and referred me to this forum. I looked again at my addons and noticed "Navigation Sounds 1.2.2", I disabled that extension and the sounds stopped. Navigation Sounds 1.2.2 sees the option bar popping up as an error and plays the error sound when it pops up. Just wanted to let everyone know about this in case they also are confused as to why the toggle sounds option seems to not work. Great extension and awesome developer feedback (it was seriously under 5 minutes from posting until the feedback post, I'm awe-struck, I've never seen that kind of response time with any other program/extension/application.)
I hope this is the proper place for this post, if it is not, I ask that it please be moved to the appropriate place in this forum.
