Googlecache and Facebook

Post by Altarbrunch »

If I'm opening the google-Cache of a facebook user site first that was can be seen in the preview is shown but then a errormessage opens up:
Google
404. That’s an error.
The requested URL /<username>?_fb_noscript=1 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
In the ABE I added the accept-froms:

Code: Select all

Site facebook.com fbcdn.net facebook.net
Accept from facebook.com googleusercontent.com *.googleusercontent.com
Deny
Still wont work. googleusercontent.com is the only page to allow there...

Google cache is not served IIRC from googleusercontent.com but rather some weird paths. That may be the reason, you might need to allow just *.google.com to it to make it work.

Just started happening to me, too! All of a sudden, no more option for Cached or Similar Pages, etc. are showing below each result. Also the font appears to be slightly different than usual. Win7 Home Premium 64bit. Was running IE8 when it first happened. Upgraded to IE9 to see if that'd fix it, but it didn't. Cleared all IE caches but still not showing up.

@ianjohnson: Discussions of Internet Explorer are not really relevant to NoScript, and your profile is full of commercial links, which is against Forum Rules.

Please promptly remove all commercial links from your profile and signature, or your account will be blocked.
