It seems that FireFox 16 (Aurora) has some serious problems with NoScript on certain pages, problems that have been even worse with the 2.5.0 version but which are not that bad in the "normal" FireFox version (currently 14.0.1).
The problems are most obvious on various IMDB pages (which I assume are very "script-rich") - for instance

With FF14 the loading is (pretty) slow but still usable, with Aurora (FF16) things really halt and no progress is seen in minutes, basically unusable.

Can't reproduce, although remember seeing things similar you described before sporadically, but not really sure if related.

And what domains do you have allowed at imdb?
Not seeing an issue either.
The very first time I allowed two of those Flash ad domains, there was a short delay, but after that loaded fine.
