NS to ask user confirmnation before upgrade and browsrestart

The NS automatic update is a good option though I recommend that NS should ask for user permission before restart of browser is done....it so happens that one s in the middle of work and the browser closes and restarts automatically...thereby all the unsaved work is gone.....Any options available....pls.comment....

NoScript would never cause a browser restart.

Any restarts are handled by the browser itself, & it never happens "automatically", only after user confirmation to a prompt.

In any case, an extension related restart should save the browser state & (attempt, usually successful) restore of same on restart.

In addition to globally allowing or disallowing extension updates, you can change the settings individually, per extension, in Add-ons Manager, more.
