NoScript doesn't allow pdf-files to open with the Firefox plugin "PDF-XChange Viewer" but will allow pdf-files to open with Adobe Reader. When I open a pdf-file, PDF-XChange Viewer crashes every time. After that you have to choose "Temporarily allow all this page" to see the pdf-file. And this all takes for ever.
How to solve this? I don't want to use Adobe Reader because it's the security risk.

Re: NoScript blocks PDF-XChange Viewer
I'm not sure whether this reader is actually more secure than Adobe Reader X, but however it's working fine for me with NoScript: it gets blocked as expected, and if I click on the placeholder it loads and displays the document as expected, no crash. Tried with this one, http://siestetica.it/download/PNE_Norme_Redazionali.pdf
What do you mean by "crash", exactly?

Security experts say the highest risks on the internet these days are not updated browsers and the Adobe Reader.Giorgio Maone wrote:I'm not sure whether this reader is actually more secure than Adobe Reader X, but however it's working fine for me with NoScript: it gets blocked as expected, and if I click on the placeholder it loads and displays the document as expected, no crash. By crashing I mean a message "The PDF-XChange Viewer plugin has crashed" in the Firefox which I also got with the previous pdf-file. If I choose "Allow scripts globally" I won't get the message.

Re: NoScript blocks PDF-XChange Viewer
What version of PDF-XChange Viewer & related Plugin are you using?
If you disable all other extensions except for NoScript & all other plugins except for PDFX, do you still crash?
And if you create a new, clean Profile with only those two?
