click to unblock youtube embeds except on youtube

Hi, I am trying to use ABE to achieve the following:

Embedded Youtube flash video is click to unblock on all sites except the youtube.com domain.
youtube.com and ytimg.com not blocked on the youtube.com domain.

e.g. on a forum page all the youtube videos appear as click to unblock rectangles, but youtube plays automatically on youtube.com pages.

If I have ytimg.com on my whitelist but not youtube.com, and select "Temporarily allow top-level sites by default" then this works until I visit youtube.com - after which youtube.com domain is allowed and youtube flash video embeds are allowed everywhere else too.

Can I use ABE to only have unblocked youtube plugins on youtube.com pages, but also be able to see (and unblock) where the embeds are supposed to be on other pages?

Thanks for any help!

Sorry, but ABE doesn't do placeholders. If it blocks something, it's just blocked.

What you want is NoScript 3.x for the desktop.

Thanks dude.

I tried variations on the following but it still loaded the flash plugin on non-youtube.com pages, expect it blocked their content and didn't allow unblocking in any way.

Site .youtube.com .ytimg.com
Accept from .youtube.com .ytimg.com
Deny ALL

hm maybe you should just use an inbuilt option in the lastest Firefox version

go to "about:config"

search for "plugins.click_to_play" and set it "true"

than go to youtube.com and click on the very left icon in the omnibar and set it to "always allow plugins for this site"
