hello.
can someone(preferably Giorgio) please explain a little more about this entry in the updates:
Bug fixes,cleanup and optimizations from the removal of legacy compatibility code.

Bug fixes are documented in the changelog.

I'm not sure what the legacy compatibility code in question was, but presumably it did something that is now handled by other code, or maybe it was for Firefox 2.x.

Yes, I removed code branches which made sense only for compatibility with Firefox 2 and very early 3.0.x versions (before nsITraceableChannel was implemented).

So supported Firefox would be 3.0.4 and up to be precise? ;-)

Yes, I didn't specify because I remembered AMO wouldn't allow 3.0.n min version compatibility declarations, but it turns out it supports 3.0.9 (not sure of why, exactly), so I've set it minutes ago.
