As per the subject, something in new firefox nightly has broken noscript. crash occurs when clicking icon or hovering over icon then moving mouse away. realize this is a problem with a nightly build but they generally forwarn of nightmares to come. cheers

It looks like
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=724235
Work-around until it gets a bit clearer: move the icon to the navigation bar.

I got a browser hang, "Not Responding" in Windows lingo.
Had to kill it.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/16.0 Firefox/16.0a1 SeaMonkey/2.13a1
Build identifier: 20120613003002
(FWIW, AdblockPlus looks to be working OK.)
Second time got me to crash,

This seems to be working so far with today's nightly (which still crashed with icon at bottom)

I still get the fault with the icon removed entirely. Faults on context menu. I did try on the navigation bar and all got the fault.

Do you hover or right click?

I can't reproduce the problem now with the icon on the navigation bar. Don't know if it was something I was doing wrong yesterday or if something changed in the respin.

Sadly confirmed on Linux64, Nightly 6/13, 6/14, 6/15 at least still worked and crashed only on hovering over icon (no matter where), or hovering over menu-entry (no matter which menu), but the latest nightly (6/16) crashed on session-load.
Had to remove noscript addon in safe mode.

Work in Progress, see

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=764591 "crash in nsStyleSet::ReparentStyleContext when clicking NoScript icon in Add-on Toolbar"
some thing about "document fragment removals" in chrome://noscript/content/noscriptOverlay.js
should be in tomorrows nightly
Cheers!

Picked up the Sunday nightly this morning and the problem appears to be corrected.
