no script and private browsing

Hi there, hope you can help with this as I'm not a techie.

I can't get no script and private browsing to work together.

The 1st thing I did was try and install private browsing on the most upto date firefox, 13, but apprantley the PB add on doesn't work on the most uptop date version of FF so I ended up installing an older version, 12.

This worked fine in PB mode until I tried to install no script. Now I can see both add ons, but only no script works. I have tried disabling and enabling but it doesn't change anything. If I go to tools in FF, then tools, "stop private browsing" and "clear recent history are grey out.

Is it possible to have them working together, and what versions do I need? or, does no script and the FF pricavy settings to exactly the same job as PB, and that is why it / they don't go together??!!

TIA

I thought private browsing is a built-in feature of Firefox, rather than an extension.
I don't know about the extension, what does the built-in lack which you need from that?

Exactly, you have the private browsing built-in that can be very easily modified and stacked with tools like NS, RP and others to make the browser very secure what could possibly an external addon provide that is not already there other than instability?
