I was in a tab at gmails' sign on page, and about to close the tab, when out of habit, I had a look at noscripts' menu..and there was a revoke temp permissions. But there was nothing in the whitelist and I knew there should not be anything. I refreshed the page and still showing the 'revoke temp permissions.' So after checking and double checking that there was nothing in the whitelist.. I just hit revoke and the noscript menu showed as normal.
I only mention gmail because it was the only tab I had open at that point. I do not temp allow or allow gmail when I use it. I was trying to remember when I had last whitelisted something, and it was about 30 minutes before on peapod.com and facebook.. I revoked each as I left each site.
As I said there was nothing whitelisted, and I've just never seen noscript behave in that way before. I was at a handful of sites after leaving peapod and facebook.. none whitelisted..
Just to check to see if peapod or facebook caused this problem, I went back to both, but noscript showed as normal after I temp enabled and revoked.
I just wanted to report this.
Using 2.4.3
Thanks!

Re: menu showed revoke when nothing whitelisted
Did you double check in NoScript Options|Whitelist?
(you probably know but worth repeating, the revoke list refers to all the temporary permissions, including plugin content, you gave in the session so far, not just in the current tab).

For next time, if you hover the Revoke Temporary Permissions menu item, it should show you the domains (items) that have been Temporarily Allowed.
(And if your right-click while hovering, it will copy that list of items to your Clipboard.)

Re: menu showed revoke when nothing whitelisted
You guys are so very kind and helpful! Reading your replies helped me realize what must have occurred as well as what to look for in the future. I must have manually revoked (line by line) in the whitelist, leaving an object. Thank you both so much!
