Even with logging disabled, FlashGot still appends one line on every launch to flashgot.log, stating when it was started.
Please can you disable ALL logging when Options->Advanced->Log->Disable is checked, so that a flashgot.log file is not even created if it doesn't exist.

Ok, disabling logging should yeah disable all logging, but what's the big deal about it recording when it was started as a means of checking that all its components are working and loaded? You are really that hard up for HD space that a less than 1k file takes up?

That looks to work.I didn't check to see if it worked, but if you were to (pre-create, empty, &) set flashgot.log to read-only attribute ...?
