Flash Got menu has links no longer active after upgrading

Post by Laura7892 »

I just upgrade FlashGot to the newest version and when I go to into the menu to download, I noticed the FlashGot Selection and FlashGot Media Options are grayed out now and I can't used them. I really only use the FlashGot Media when downloading what I want to download. I was about to download a song when I noticed this and can no longer download songs or anything else using the FlashGot Media option. I'm not sure if Windows updates could have caused this since I had also done some Windows updates just before I updated FlashGot. I'm using Firefox for a Browser and the OS is Windows Vista. I hope you can help me with this since this is way over my head and I don't know what could had caused this issue.

Could you please point me to the page(s) where this happens and possibly give me a screenshot of the FlashGot menu?
Thanks.

I only used two sites for music and it worked for http://hypem.com today but it still doesn't work when I try to use http://www.playlist.com. It worked fine for both sites the day I had done the updates and then after the updates it only works for one site. I use both those site because sometimes one has the music I'm looking for that the other don't. If you could point me in the direction of more sites that works with FlashGot that would be ok as well. I'm open to making thiings easier on people if it's possible. As for giving you a screen shot I would if I could do that. Taking screen shots has been one thing I have never been able to do and it even bites me in the butt when I have a complaint about an online game and they want a screen shot.

> I just upgrade FlashGot to the newest version

Which is?
(And there is yet another new version out.)

Both sites working as expected here.
As a test, create a new Profile, install FlashGot & test.

I don't know what happened but now FlashGot won't work with either site and I haven't done anything. I'm going to shut my computer down for a little while and see if that helps. This sucks because I was just using it last night with Http://hypem.com and now it won't work. GGGRRR I have it set so FlashGot will Update automatically if there are updates and as far as I know there haven't been any since before I went to bed last night or since I have gotten up this morning. This is getting so frustrating.

As a test, create a new, clean, Profile.
Install FlashGot, only.
Do your two sites now work?
