When Firefox is starting for the first time after booting XP Pro and since the update of No Script to current version 5/2/12 after updating to Firefox 12 I started to receive this error. A script is on this page is stopped or taking too long to run Script= "Crome://gLobal/content/bindings0/text.xml:35" I have my start page set to blank so no web is going on I find fire Fox starts faster this way. This was not an issue prior to Firefox 12 and loading fire fox 11 causes the problem to stop. I notice that No-script Icon at the status bar is a red circle then turns to white before showing the error. No script is doing something during this time before Firefox loads completely. If I check the box to not show this anymore it still does show it. if I hit continue it loads immediately. My question is where is this pointing to? // Global what? where? global is not found on my PC. Second text.xml is not on my PC or is hidden. Where can I find this file and why is it executing, for what? today I found out that the site R20.rs6.net was linked to my computer through Firefox. This the infamous MarkMonitor. the notorious spy and stealer of info from everyone. not only do they think they own your PC but they SPam you also. Why are these kind of sites allowed to run on PCs. What can we do when web pages refuse to load like yahoo and Google without these spies breathing down our necks? Blocking them makes the whole page not load.

They shouldn't. Sounds like a malware infection. Scan the machine with your own anti-virus, and also with
MalwareBytes.org's free scanner.

I use Yahoo Mail and have never seen that site or script. Again, it sounds like the machine is infected.
For many spy scripts, such as google-analytics.com, NoScript by default runs a
Surrogate Script, which satisfies the page and makes it load, while sending no actual information to the data-miner. For a list of such scripts for which surrogates are provided, please see
List of scripts for which NS runs surrogate.

Received a no-Script update today and problem solved. Yeeeeeeha! I also failed to mention that as of 5-4-12 I started to receive warning from Vipre Internet Security GFI software that No-Script page was Dangerous. Get out! Really! What do you think? Let's take a vote! I added noscript.net to my allow web warning white list and problem solved.

Thanks for reporting back. I'll mark as Resolved. (Unrelated)
Yes, that sounds like a very goofy tool. By all means, everyone who has that product should let the developer know of the issue. Surely it would be fixed?

Well, I suppose noscript.net
is owned by
one of the best virus-writers in the world

Indeed. Thank goodness he's on our side!
en-US: "It takes a thief to catch a thief."
en-BR: "Set a thief to catch a thief."
Also of note: Did you know that the hacker who tied for first place with Giorgio in that contest,
Sirdarckcat, is also a good friend and sometimes co-author of Giorgio's? Sirdarckcat has attempted many attacks against NoScript (search the linked blog for NoScript-related posts), reporting results to Giorgio privately of course, thus strengthening it even further.
None of us can see every possible nit in our own work, so having it vetted by one of similar skill (and many other elite white-hat hackers) really enhances NS protection, often proactively or preemptively. Too bad MS, Adobe, etc. won't swallow their pride and use independent pen-testers in this fashion.

That photo of Geo is just so cool. He's got this James Bond look on his face like he's just hacked the Kremlin. Spelling on purpose. When he goes down we are all in for a wake up! I have a list of Companies he should not ever work for but I would have to fly to Italy to give it to him personally.
