with "noscript", on the "google.com" webpage, in one user-account, which has administrator priviledges, "noscript" indicates that scripts are partially allowed while, in another user-account, a limited-user account, "noscript" does not report that scripts are partially allowed (on "google.com" ).. i don't see why there should be any difference between the two user-accounts, in the way that "noscript" functions..

with the user-account with administrator priviledges, i tried using noscript's "reset", to see if that would stop the "partially allowed scripts", but it didn't make any difference.. i do not have "google.com" on the whitelist in either account, and i also do not have anything permanently blocked, by marking it "untrusted", in either account.. in other words, the settings should be the same in both user-accounts, so why is "noscript" "partially allowing" scripts in the one user-account? how might i change this so that no scripts are "partially allowed" on "google.com"?

Before trying to figure out the cause, please understand that each user account in Windows is almost like having a separate computer for each user. Programs, settings, files, folders, and even the desktop background or screensaver can be different for each user.

When you say "NoScript indicates or reports", are you referring to the logo, or to the menu itself?
Go to Google on the administrator account, then open the NS menu, then you can revoke any permissions or make untrusted anything that shows.

i am saying that the noscript icon, in the systray, indicates that some scripts are allowed..it has an unusual look to it, and, when i "mouse over it", a message pops up saying "scripts partially allowed".. (i don't think that it would say "scripts partially allowed" in the "menu" )..

after comparing the two user-accounts, i see that, in the "administrator account", "noscript" gives the option of "forbid-ing" "about:blank", while, in the "limited-user" account, it does not show anything about "about:blank".. i have "about:blank" on the "whitelist" in both cases.. i don't want to completely "forbid" "about:blank", though it might not be necessary to have it on the "whitelist".. i just decided to have it whitelisted after seeing that it was being restricted on many websites that i went to..

here are some screenshots.. the first image is with the "limited-user" account.. the second and third images are with the "administrator account".. notice the slight difference in the appearance of the "noscript" icon, in the two cases.. i don't know why "about:blank" shows up when using the "administrator account", while not showing up when using the "limited user account".. as far as i can tell, both accounts are using the same "noscript" settings.. i didn't notice the "partially allowed scripts" on the "google.com" webpage until recently, maybe after a recent "noscript" update?

Looks like in the account showing "Partially allowed" there's some 3rd party (either an extension or a separate application such as an anti-virus or a personal firewall) injecting an empty about:blank iframe inside the google.com page.
Please try Standard Diagnostic to find out if it's an extension, otherwise check your security software options (e.g. for some "web security monitor").
