Approved Whitelist

It is sometimes easy to accidentally click 'Allow ...' instead of 'Temporarily allow ...' on the menu. Something that I think would help would be a separate 'approved' white list, where I can approve an entry added to the white list, and easily remove anything accidentally added without looking though lots of entries to find them. An alternative may be to have an approved status for each white list entry. I could then check/uncheck the approved status on the white list tab and easily remove any unapproved entries. Perhaps something similar to the untrusted sites would be useful as well. so I can easily clean up site marked as untrusted more easily.

Indeed.

When you whitelisted it, you approved it, sorry.

To fix this, NoScript Options > Whitelist.

They're in alphabetical order at the top, and again in alpha order at the bottom for those that start with http, and then for those that start with https.
This should make searching for a particular entry easy. Delete whichever.
Or just go back to the site in question, open the menu, click "Forbid .... ", then click "Temp-Allow." Problem solved.

Or open prefs.js file, and either use the Edit > Find capability, or look at the entries listed after
user_pref("capability.policy.maonoscript.sites",
Or even easier, click the Export button, open the resulting text document, find "whitelist", edit to your heart's content, being sure to leave exactly one blank space between entries, then click "Import", and navigate to this exported doc. Done.

How is unchecking a box easier that deleting an entry? :?:
Click the Whitelist item, then click "Remove site".
You can do this en masse by holding down the Ctrl key as you select multiple entries to be removed.

Again, go to the site in question, open the NS menu, point to "Untrusted", and then either Allow or Temp-Allow whichever.

Or go to that Export we created, find "Untrusted", edit as above, and import as above.

Or just take an extra half-second to look before clicking "Allow". And don't do it while watching TV, texting, talking on the phone, etc. ;)
