Even though I have youtube as a trusted site, web pages are collapsing the video when I click on them. To get them back I have to got to "blocked objects" and allow it there for them to work. The problem is blocked object is forgotten when I fire up Firefox again. How do I
1) Keep the youtube content (and others like vimo and such) from collaping?
2) Get the blocked objects to "stick"
I have "show placholder icon" checked and "collapse blocked objects" unchecked in my preferences.

I can't reproduce this with the same settings. Do you have "Apply these restrictions to trusted sites too" checked or unchecked? With it unchecked, every video plays fine as soon as I click on it. When checked, there is a very nice, un-collapsed placeholder. I can either click the blocked-logo, "OK" and it plays, or can go to "blocked objects"; however, "blocked objects" offers only temporary allow AFAIK. Permanent allowing of blocked objects, especially on a per-site basis, is a feature request that's been pending for a long time.halkun wrote:Even though I have youtube as a trusted site, web pages are collapsing the video when I click on them. What I don't understand is why they collapse *when you click on the video*. Any other blocking tools? Adblocking? RequestPolicy? Other extensions?
Latest NS version, 1.9.1.91?
What are your "plug-ins" settings? If you uncheck "apply to trusted sites", does that fix it?
Finally, if it isn't fixed yet, on the Firefox toolbar, click Tools > Error Console and let us know what shows there. Thanks.

I found it, it seems I had an old copy of flashblock was arguing with it. I removed flashblock (As noscript works just as well) and it's all good. Thanks for the quick response and concern!
