[RESOLVED] NoScript auto-reload reloads too many sites

It may be just all the other addons I have (around 50, last count) or Greasemonkey scripts (more than a dozen), but for whatever reason, NoScript has a nasty tendency to reload unaffected sites when I manually change permissions. It does this quite a bit, in fact, though not 100% consistent, and it's very annoying.

I keep waffling on how to handle this: one day I'll notice I'm wasting a good bit of time manually reloading sites, so I'll enable auto-reload; a week later, NoScript will "helpfully" reload two dozen tabs that I didn't necessarily want (and certainly didn't need) reloaded, and I'll disable it again.

But what I really want is an auto-reload that just works properly. Ideally, it would be customizable so that it could auto-reload only the page I'm on when permissions change, like RequestPolicy does. But I guess that's not really necessary.

From http://noscript.net/features#options
Some about:config preference you may want to know are:
noscript.autoReload.allTabs - switch it to false if you want only the current page to be reloaded when permissions change (it will prevent a slowdown when you've got many tabs open on the same site).
Switch it to off.

I hope this helps somewhat.

I believe it will, thank you very much.
I would never have looked there, because I thought I knew NoScript back to front. I guess I thought wrong.

You're welcome. I still use web search strings like "site:noscript.net reload" often. 8-)
