Problem replying!

I'm trying to reply to a post by Tom in the thread "Problems with Google search, Google Sightseeing" but every time I click on either Preview or Post, I'm taken to

http://evil.hackademix.net/images/stall ... pg#preview

(picture of Sylvester Stallone with caption "You Got Stallown3D!1")

If it's a joke, it's really, really not funny. I spent the day scanning my PC for malware.

I've tried doing a dummy reply in another thread and this does not happen.

I'm unable to post my reply here. Is there a keyword you watch out for that I should delete from my reply?

I traced the problem to a URL I had in my post. I have no idea what was wrong with it, it was part of an error message. It did not contain special characters more exotic than ampersands and a question mark.

That image is really unhelpful and it's juvenile. I was trying to imagine having to backup all my data, reformat my hard drive and start over.

I'm very sorry that you had this difficulty. Did you try the code tags for the URL, as discussed at the main thread? Seeing the URL that you think caused the problem is the only way that I can think of to try to diagnose the issue.

Most spam is deleted after the fact. There are certain auto-triggers, which I'd rather not reveal -- I'm sure you understand -- but nothing in any of your posts so far is remotely close to any of them. Nor has anything been objectionable in any way. If you were able to do the recaptcha, you should not have been blocked. I see that you registered, which solves the recaptcha issue, but were you ever able to view the recaptcha?

Another possibility would be if your IP is shared (school, library, Internet cafe), and another user at that address got banned. But you appear to be using the same IP for the successful posts, so I assume the unsuccessful ones came from that IP also?

Regarding the image, I will forward your concerns to Giorgio Maone and ask him to consider them.

Again, I apologize for your inconvenience and concern.

Regards,
Tom

Sorry for the misunderstanding, that image was an old ongoing joke among whitehat hackers, and its domain ("evil.hackademix.net") should act as a hint, but since NoScript is now quite popular also outside the security researchers ranks I guess I'll have to replace it with something less intimidating and more informative. Thank you for the pointer.

BTW, could you send me an email with the link which caused this antispam filter to be triggered, for me to tweak it?
Thanks again.

Hi Giorgio,

I sent you a PM. I hope that was okay.

Yes, that's useful, thank you.
