do you have ClickOnce installed? it may be a server install application that is communicating with your .NET ClickOnce that is slowing you down and somehow its busted.

no, .net addon is disabled as it is compatible with firefox 3.6 and slows the browser start up time.exe downloads window appear correctly when flashgot is disabled
Also the download window I am refering to is the one that appears with the flashgot/save file
(on a side note, the messed up download window does not happen with firefox 3.5b4pre)

Possibly an incompatible change to the XUL dialog in most recent trunk builds, I'll investigate it and fix it in next release. Thanks for reporting.

How can I stop firefox from opening multiple tabs on startup? When I open firefox browser, I get multiple tabs opening all at once-several with my homepage, others with various topics. I have to close them individually to keep this from slowing down my homepage load. Any idea what setting I need to change? I am using Firefox 3 Beta 2.

@hazelir:
that's quite off-topic, but did you check your Tools|Options|Startup settings?

@mogimus, what version of FlashGot are you running?
This earlier issue,
Interface "bug" with Firefox 3.5 beta 4, has been (& still continues) fixed ever since FlashGot 1.
1.8.7 (& with 3.6.a1pre too).
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090429 Minefield/3.6a1pre
