Google Cached Pages Do Not Show

Google Cached Pages Do Not Show

Google no longer shows its Cached page links on its search listings unless you have JavaScript enabled, & then you must click the "Instant Preview" to pick up the Cached link from there.

Any way around that using NoScript.

(Read about some Greasemonkey methods, http://userscripts.org/scripts/review/90222, to get the Cached link to display normally, but I'd rather not have to install Greasemonkey.)

<Hope I don't get the same answer as, Can I filter JavaScript by select it from page source ? ;-).>

Note that,
al_9x wrote:For this to work, you have to disable "Google Instant" in the search prefs, otherwise paging and subsequent searches are done with ajax and the load events don't fire. It's probably possible to make this work with ajax, but I don't want instant so haven't bothered.

SeaMonkey has now long advertised itself as "Firefox".

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:9.0a2) Gecko/20111015 Firefox/9.0a2 SeaMonkey/2.6a2

If you disable that useragent spoofing, disabling, general.useragent.compatMode.firefox ...

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:9.0a2) Gecko/20111015 SeaMonkey/2.6a2

Then Google serves up its good 'ol old fashioned variety of itself.

Now SeaMonkey had this extension, partialspoofer, which would add "Firefox" to the UA for (user) selected whitelisted sites.
Now what we need is an un-partialspoofer which would remove "Firefox" from the UA for (user) selected blacklisted sites ;-).
