[UNRELATED] Google search btn doesnt work & pic search probs

Hi,
since the latest Noscript Update v2.1.4 the blue Google search button is not working anymore (Javascript search with preview).
Furthermore there are problems when using the new multi-page picture search: the lower links for switching between picture sizes (in order to select only large pictures or medium pictures for example) are also not working. I have to manually refresh the page.
Google.de is on my allowed list and all limitations are disabled. I also tested Google.com and encountered the exact same problems.
I am using the latest Firefox v7.0.1 x86 build on a Windows 7 64bit OS.
My current workaround is to block Javascript for Google in order to get the classic search mask which works. When I disable Noscript completely and restart Firefox everything works fine. I never had such problems with older versions of Noscript, please help.
Best regards

Update: Same problems with new stable release v2.1.5 and latest development build v2.1.5 rc4.
However, v2.1.3 works without problems:

Hope this helps.

First workaround above did not work 100% (blue Google search button was still blocked sometimes) but the following workaround seems to work even with latest Noscript 2.1.5:
In "about:config" I need to set "noscript.docShellJSBlocking" from 1 to 0 and problems finally went away.
Hope this helps.
Best regards

I'm not seeing the issues regardless of any noscript.docShellJSBlocking setting.
Setting all NoScript settings back to defaults (Reset) still results in both mentioned items to be working as expected.

Have you got anything to be allowed inside your "Untrusted" submenu when you're on that page.

Hi,
thanks for your replies, the "untrusted" submenu was not displayed in my case. I have added google.de to allowed sites and removed all limitations for this site, the only thing more in the menu was to allow scripts globally. When I klicked on allow all scripts globally, the blue google search button and picture size links worked.
But it seems to be a problem with my local Firefox installation and another addon, I tried to remove both Adblock Plus & Noscript, reinstalled them and resetted all Noscript settings to default.
Then I readded added google.de to allowed sites and removed all limitations for this site. Now everything seems to work fine, fingers crossed!
Best regards

Hi, I've just installed noscript 2.2.5(Firefox 8.0.1) and I'm having the same problem. Everything on google.com is allowed by default and yet, the image search has problems. The page streaming doesn't work, but more importantly, I can't search by image anymore. Clicking the blue camera icon doesn't bring up the usually popup(to paste an image url) and dragging images from the desktop into the search bar doesn't work either. I'm also running Adblock. The about:config fix didn't work for me. Any suggestions besides having to re-installing both?

Could you try NoScript Options|Reset (possibly after using the "Export" button for analysis and/or restoring)?

Turns out, noscript was not the problem at all, it was just coincidence. The actual cause was some nasty google redirect virus, which apparently also blocked some of google's functionality.
Anyway, I guess I'm a bit safer now, with noscript running

Thanks for your effort!
