Java Not Working Aviationweather

When using the latest version of NoScript in Firefox on an Intel based Mac (OS 10.6.8), a site run by the US Government doesn't work:
http://aviationweather.gov/adds/metars/java/
It just shows a blank page. No script does not show that anything is blocked. Even when I uncheck "block java" it still doesn't work. Yet, when I open the same site on another browser without NoScript, the page works properly. Also, accessing the same site through Firefox with NoScript on a PC running WinXP works OK.

Working here.

Allowed aviationweather.com.
Initially showed a placemarker.
Saw that it was Java related.
Enabled Java in my browser.
Java applet loaded.
Map with Temp Weather Dewpoint displayed.

57, brrrr. Sure hope its closer to 100 by next Saturday.

What version of Java are you running?
Java enabled in your browser?
What does about:plugins show?
What does Add-ons Manager show?

@ therube: OP agrees that the site works with Win XP, as it does for you and for me. Trouble was Mac-specific.

@ will7777r: Your user-agent (visible to *all* sites you visit, not just this one) is showing Firefox 3.0.5. The 3.0 branch has been unsupported for a long time. Should you like to stay with the 3.x line, as I do for reasons purely of personal taste, please upgrade to the latest version of 3.6.x, then ensure *all* add-ons are updated, and try again.

From Mozilla support:
"On Mac OS X 10.6 and below, Java is installed with the operating system. To update Java, use the Mac OS X Software Update feature.
"On Mac OS X 10.7, Java is not installed by default. Java for OS X Lion is available from Apple Support Downloads."

After updating both Firefox and Java for Mac, please let us know whether the site works or is still an issue. Thanks.
