I am using Windows 7 Home premium 64 Bit and the system is working fine so far - with one exception I have been confronted with early this evening, 14.09.2011 (Feel free to request for further explanations in case you won't be able to cope with my untrained english):
Right after finishing my todays gmx Mailcheck I experienced a pretty scary malfunction, which turned out to be at least partly caused by the automatic update-function of your plugin shortly before I tried to logout without success. Right after clicking the logout-button, GMX mailsoftware opened an empty page. Nothing else occured within a timerange of ten minutes  .
Beeing alarmed by this unusual behaviour, I tried to switch one page back just in order to verify the successful logout and found the mailaccount still be open to access - which means to my oppinion, that everyone knowing my surf-chronic could do
so. I first tried to send a service-request to GMX Service, which wasn't possible too, because the formular checkroutines demanded for my full mail-adress again and moreover to this deleted the date when the reported malfunction first has occured, which I already have typed in befor. It appears to me, as if the programm has been blocked to read my input. I tried to delete the browser-chronic then and found the button to be greyed.
Finally I decided to run the risk of leaving an open mailaccount open to read by anyone else and closed all pages including
the browser itself. Opening a new session with the Firefox-browser the message of a newly installed version (2.1.2.9rc1) of NoScript-plugin popped up.
I closed that webpage and tried a new login at my gmx-mailaccount immediately. I feel easier on my mind having xperienced
normal logout-processes to finish my gmx-session from then on :) .
To my oppinion it could be helpful as a first counter messure to disable the automated update-function of Firefox-plugin(s) but this surely won't be the best final solution.

The situation you're describing has most likely been caused by a temporarily server-side malfunction on the GMX website.
The automatic updates functionality provided by Firefox for every add-on (including NoScript) cannot interfere with website operation.
