i am in north america and when i visit certain basic pages in yahoo.com it appears that i am being connected to a server located in iran SOMETIMES.
here is one of the ip's at issue 188.125.65.211
here is a yahoo related ".net" address example that seems fixed to that ip http://proxy1.stage.finance.vip.ird.yahoo.net/
assume i allow scripts from yahoo, then i click on yahoo news or yahoo whatever, and bang i'm on what appears to be some iranian server, should i care?
i ask because the issue seems odd and because of the recent diginotarded mess, not because of sentiment about that country or its people.

Re: crazy geolocation
Looking at the last hops of a traceroute one has to wonder whether it's Iran, Ireland or the United Kingdom… seems like the IP-to-location providers aren't united on this one.
What you posted is the official reverse DNS but other domains such as uk.finance.yahoo.com point to it too.
