There are two annoying Amazon affiliate blocks on this page that are animated. Why doesn't NS stop them from running? They are not JS?

Is there any way I can stop the in-your-face animation?

NoScript Options | Embeddings -> Forbid Flash, then you'll get placeholders so long as you have not allowed amazon.com.

NoScript Options | Embeddings -> Forbid Flash, Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too, then you'll get placeholders for all Flash, even if you have allowed amazon.com. (Could be overly restrictive, depending upon your wants.)

Adblock Plus would block it regardless of the NoScript settings.

Suppose you might be able to do something with ABE ?

I don't know why ABP doesn't block these annoying ads. I can't believe that the idiot who owns that website thinks putting the same two annoying ads right in front of the users face is going to make people click to Amazon. Or maybe they will just to stop the animation.

But I am allowing Amazon.com, so NS is no help here. Shouldn't there be a control in NS to allow something like Amazon only on a 1st level site (i.e. www.amazon.com). Sort of like 3rd party cookie controls?

Anyway, clicking the ESC key stops the annoying animation. Whew.
