Advice On This Horrible Site

Firefox 5.01 on Win7 (yeah, I know, but it's a brand new laptop, it'll take time)
Extensions:
NoScript 2.1.2.3
Back/Forward Dropmarker 1.0
DownloadHelper4.9.3

Problem site:
www.freep.com

I cannot log on to this horrible site even when Allow Scripts Globally is on.

This terrible site keeps bringing up a round robin of new scripts from different sites every time Allow All This Page is picked. A long time ago, I had figured out which scripts were needed to allow login, but now that I tried it after a long absence, the login script itself hangs every time.

So, two questions:
1) What will it take to be able to log on to the site?
2) Is there some strategy for dealing with Rolodex-type sites like this, other than staying away from them?

Thanks for any advice you may be able to give.

I'm able to log in to this horrible site if I allow scripts globally.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0
NoScript 2.1.2.4rc4 with default settings
No other extensions

Can you log in if you disable your other extensions?
Also update to the latest development build

http://www.freep.com, Detroit Free Press, is one of several problematic Gannett sites. I usually stay away from them since I need to Allow Scripts Globally and disable Adblock Plus to get them to work reliably.

If you've marked any sites as Untrusted, those sites aren't allowed even when Allow Scripts Globally is on. Check NoScript's Untrusted sub-menu and verity that none of the sites used are marked as Untrusted already.

You may find this EasyList article illuminating and possibly helpful.
