build gallery option enhancement

Hi friends,
I don't know if this feature request has been posted earlier. This is an enhancement which i think will help people a lot:
Right now, whenever we click on the build gallery option, flashgot takes image urls serially and builds a gallery html page. The gallery html page hogs a lot of RAM and is memory intensive (as it is loaded as a new tab on the browser window, i am using firefox).
Can you enhance this option to develop the gallery offline (without bringing up a tab)? I suspect that you can increase image download speeds this way.
If I am wrong in some way about my estimate or if this is a repost, i request you to be kind enough to forgive
