I have win 7 32bit on my netbook and cannot get certain programs that require Java until I disable No Script
what is it in no script that is causing this as I do not have this problem on my win 7-64bit PC
thanks

Unless these programs are launched from Firefox, NoScript shouldn't interfere with them.
What are they?

Lexulous works for me as soon as I "Allow lexulous.com" AND "Allow stackwords.com" from NoScript's menu (or just use "Allow all this page").

I have I have updated version of java but as long as I have noscript enabled It tells me to enable it in my browser
and No script seems to be blocking it & I don't know why
when I click on any site that needs java and try to allow it I can't
when I try to change the permissions to temporaialy allow this site or anything else I am unable to do so

Do you by any chance have the option to block on trusted sites enabled as well? If so then it won't matter if you allow the site or not, so uncheck that.

@GµårÐïåñ, is that what you were speaking of, or where you looking at the Embeddings tab & Allow these restrictions to whitelisted sites too?

@therube, actually what I meant was [Embeddings|Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too] but it seems the OP fixed it by resetting the HTTPS option under Advanced, which sometimes causes problems as well, so that fixed it which suggests the content is NOT HTTPS so that would have crippled it.
@sue, you are welcome and glad we could help.
