I have been seeing a bug for a couple months with the yellow notification bar that appears at the bottom of the webpage to identify blocked scripts. Every so often when the click OPTIONS the pane that shows running/blocked scripts is not displaying. It actually appears to be running down off the bottom of the screen (so you cannot read it) instead of up the browser window. I have seen this since upgrading to FF4. I am now on FF5 running Noscript 2.1.2 and see the same problem. I figured you would have had other reports of this bug, but it does not appear so.
If I close and re-open the browser the problem corrects itself for a while. Inevitably it comes back in a few hours or a day or two at most.
I have an ATI 5750 graphics card and have tried drivers 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6 all with same results.
Running Windows 7 SP1 x64.
HELP?!?

Re: Blocked script notification bar bug - Firefox
It may be an extensions conflict. Does it happen when you've got all your extensions and themes (except NoScript) disabled?

Not using Themes. Only theme loaded is Default 5.0.Giorgio Maone wrote:It may be an extensions conflict. Does it happen when you've got all your extensions and themes (except NoScript) disabled?
I am sending you a list of extensions loaded via PM. I think you'll find these are fairly commonly run by Noscript users.

Re: Blocked script notification bar bug - Firefox
Here it is 1 week later and the problem just recurred tonight. Suddenly began when I opened a new tab to visit engadget.com.
If I click the OPTIONS button in the NS yellow bar I can arrow down and click enter and often the options will appear again. This is a temporary fix for that one instance. Restarting FF5 is the only way to fix properly. It may be another few days (or not) before this occurs again.
I am not running any unusual addons. I sent you a list previously via PM. All are fairly standard that are likely run by many NS users. Using Avast free AV.
Seems that NS may have a bug.
Currently running NS 2.12RC3.
