[RESOLVED] failed to load overlay from chrome://noscript/

Running Firefox 5.0 on Linux Mint 11,NoScript does not seem to work (no icons shown and no scripts are blocked)

On the add-on tabs in FF when clicking on the Preferences button nothing happens. Through the Error Console in FF this message shows: failed to load overlay from chrome://noscript/content/noscriptOverlay.xul

NoScript version appears as 2.1.1.2rc1 and cannot be uninstalled. This seems a FF issue anyway I decided to come here first. Thanks for your thoughts

never mind, completely removed firefox and reinstalled. Everything is fine now
