NoScript causes FF to wake up more often while idle

During checking my system's power consumption with powertop, I noticed that NoScript (stable) as well as the latest development build cause FF to wake up around 4 times/s compared to <1 time/s with NoScript disabled.
During that test, in FF (4.0.1, Linux) a single tab was open with developer.android.com and no scripts allowed (NS default settings). The browser was left in idle state for at least 30s to settle.
It would be nice if NoScript wouldn't add additional load to Firefox, especially when there's no user activity in the browser.
Thanks
