[RESOLVED] How does FlashGot recognize download managers

Post by vsub »

Where he search for into to see if the download manager is installed or not?
I'm using really old version of NetTransport which I can't find anywhere. The problem is that I have the installation but after reinstalling windows,I loose of the the registry keys that the program added to them and now FlashGot can't see that I have the program in the same place as before.

I have backup of all of my registry before the windows reinstall but I don't know what to restore to make FlashGot to "see" that I have NetTransport for download manager(I don't have the installation of the program anymore so I can't reinstall it and fix the problem)

PS.I'm not new to registry editing so complicated explanation won't be a problem.
I don't want any other download manager nor different version of it(I'm using version 1.94.279)

FlashGot tries to instantiate the COM component that is used for integration by IE.
Almost every download manager for Windows have one.
Your best bet is reinstalling Net Transport, or check whether (re-)eanabling IE integration restores the component.

Ok thanks,fixed.
I just register the IE module and after using the "Detect Now" button, the download manager appear in the list.
