Hi .
I am seeing a fil:// that's requesting access but which file i don't know.It's currently under the untrusted but I can't make out which file. I use lastpass and i have yahoo mail addon installed .I am seeing this on the Ubuntu 10.04 netbook with FF3.6.??
is it xpi. file of FF?.

file:// is mentioned a few times, so maybe you're running into similar circumstances with one of your other extensions?
