When I try to download a video, it says the file size is "X" mb for the video, but does not download it... it only downloads something like 20 - 40kb or whatever. How do I get it to download the entire video? And when downloading a video, is there an option to name it and choose the location the file goes into?

URL?
File name may be dependent on the download manager used.

Ahh, the URL is from a paysite that I hadn't realized does not allow for downloads. I am curious though, what is being downloaded as flashgot recognizes the file being a certain size and ends up downloading a file of different size - like if it says a file is 100mb why would it download 35kb?
But what download manager would be good with flashgot? The simpler the better, along with telling where the downloaded file goes... I've used some download managers that creates new folders which is just annoying and confusing and makes it difficult to find the download file.

Most likely it is an html page saying something like; "you need to log in" or "requested file not found" or "captcha entered is incorrect".
Open 35kb into a text editor & see what is shows.
Free Download Manager it appears is getting the nod these days (though I am unfamiliar with it).
