Crimekit: Will NoScript protect against this new Mac threat?

Post by kukla »

The Weyland-Yutani BOT supports web injects and form grabbing in Firefox; however both Chrome and Safari will soon follow. The webinjects templates are identical to the ones used in Zeus and Spyeye.
Don't know if this exploit is JavaScript based. (I'm guessing you must already have some experience with this in its Windows version.)

If the bot replicates itself through a web-based attack (and it would seem so, looking at the screenshot) answer is most likely yes.
