I got a problem I get noscript drop-down that scrolls (I didn't ask for it so I don't know how it suddenly appeared)
And obviously I want to get rid of it. Is there some kind of solution? Like the "local_install.contextMenuHide..." config option that's available to prevent the context menu (mouse right click) from scrolling?
I don't want to scroll menus it's bad for my eyes. I prefer to see all the options at once (I don't care how long the drop down is) just like the way it used to be until very recently.
This is odd. I tried to start emergency firefox without local_install (and without certain other addons) then did no other tweaking and closed that and opened firefox normal mode and suddenly the full menu appears.
I get the impression that whenever something changes in the configuration of the browser the drop-down menu gets that scrolling bug.
But then the bug disappears... then appears... back and forth. What's going on with the browser?
I never had this problem before upgreding to firefox 4
Some of your extensions don't work properly in Fx 4.0 and there may be a conflict between one or more of them and NoScript. "local_install" aka MR Tech Toolkit 6.0.4 is not compatible with Fx 4.0. If you are using the alpha version which its developer released a short while ago, be aware that it's mostly broken -- according to its developer. I wouldn't be surprised if your compatibility problem lies there.
You can troubleshoot a potential extension conflict using Firefox safe mode.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode. (Don't check any of the boxes. Just click Continue in safe mode.)
If starting in Firefox safe mode works, then disable your extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions or use the option in the safe mode startup window) and re-enable them one by one until you find which one is causing the problem. Start out by disabling all your other extensions except NoScript.
Close and restart Firefox after each change. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Bas ... and_themes
