I am running Noscript 2.1.0.2 in Windows 7 64-bit on Firefox 3.6.16. When I permanently allow a site (i.e. google.ca) the settings is not remembered. This happens with temporarily remembering sites (which should last until I restart Firefox) but either permanent or temporary allowing is not remember. I have seen a permanent allow be reverted in front of my eyes less than 30 seconds after allowing it (I saw the script icon turn from blue to mixed red/blue) although this is not typical.
This is absolutely annoying and frustrating. I have not seen anyone posting anything like this in google and I am looking for assistance.
Thanks,
Mario

I forgot to mention I uninstalled and re-installed the extension with no change in behavior.

Re: Problem with Noscript on windows 7
First, update to the latest development build, currently NS 2.1.0.3rc6.
Are you using Firefox Sync? If so, make sure NoScript sync is turned off by using about:config to set noscript.sync.enabled to false.

Yes I am using Firefox sync. I installed the dev version and turned off noscript.sync.enabled. Does this means that I will never be able to use the nosript sync with Firefox sync? I would like to have all my noscript settings synced with Firefox sync.
Please let me know

Re: Problem with Noscript on windows 7
I wouldn't say "never". Leave it disabled until the bugs are worked out. I suppose when it's safe to use sync with the NoScript preferences again, that will be in the release notes of a future NoScript release. I don't know when, but I'm not the developer.

Re: Problem with Noscript on windows 7
It's safe as long as you set the initial conditions right, i.e. enable sync on a PC first (possibly after having done a backupo of your configuration through the "Export" button), then sync the cloud with the preferences of that PC, and when you add new devices you import cloud's configuration first, and only when NoScript's configuration is in sync with the "master" PC enabled the "merge" mode.I installed dev version wrote:Yes I am using Firefox sync. Re: Problem with Noscript on windows 7
Hi, even after using the dev version and turning off noscript.sync.enabled I still get the problem where some/all noscript settings are reset.
Also, I have notice occasionally on my home page www.mfjassociates.net an errror about ABE appears. If I restart Firefox this does not show and I have no idea what can be causing this on my homepage. I have a screen shot I can email if required.
Also, I am not sure I understood Giogio's comment. But I will come back later to ask specific questions because I am extremely busy until end of this month. Right now I am running with all scripts enabled (argh short of uninstalling)
