I can install it , but i dont have any flashgot menu . Or there isnt that small icon on bottom when im playing youtube video.

Do you get any error message in Tools|Error Console?
Is it listed in Tools|Add-ons?
Can you see its submenu inside the Tools menu?

its listed in add-ons but i cant see menu or anything else

im sorry, i didnt notice there is flashgot menu in tools but it doesnt work. When i click on download all with flashgot. nothing happens. and there isnt that small icon on bottom when playing something like before

Did you check for error in Tools|Error Console?
Does it work in a clean [url=http://kb..org/Profile]profile[/url] with just FlashGot installed?
Could you try [url=http://kb..org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Extension_issues]Standard Diagnostic[/url]?

I can download with flashgot on new clean profile but there is still missing that icon on bottom. And what is standard diagnostic?

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem... I am able to right-click and choose "flashgot all", "flashgot media", etc., but the nifty icon that i could right-click to select specific media elements from a website is now missing since I upgraded to FF4. I've checked around in the flashgot options menus and found nothing... sorry, I'm also not the most web-browser savy when it comes to these plug-ins... I wish I could be more specific.

Did you try "View|Toolbars|Add-on bar"?

That works for me. But ...
The flashgot media icon appears in the far right bottom corner of my screen on the add-on bar.
Is there a way to get it to appear in the middle or to the left where it's easier to see and click on?

P.S. Just upgraded to FF4. The first add-on I went looking for was Flashgot! I've used it almost every day for years.

Hi buddy. I just installed FF4! it's cool, I mean its OK, but first thing i found it disturbing, was that flashgot add-on does not work with ff4! first of all, I thought it might be coz of using the TOR anti filter program which I use during web surfing (you know, I live in Iran and we need to use it coz of mass-filtering of the web) but after testing an unfiltered site, i found out that flash-got doest work in ff-4 at all and it doesnt any link between using tor and flash-got inactivity.
anyway, I should have told you this, as a feedback, you know. good luck buddy

Just another thanks from someone who bit the bullet and installed FF4. I had to customize it back to the old Firefox (the elements changed seem to be copying Chrome) and of course no FG icon at the bottom. I assume a ton of people need this tip so thanks!

you know, when i right click on a music link, just like before, there was options in 'flashgot options' (browser built in & Download Accelerated Plus) but when i click on one of them, nothing happens! really nothing! formerly, after this, downloading just starts and i could see the process with the 'download status bar' add-on nut now, it doesnt starts anyway! i really dont know what is the problem but one thing I am sure about it is, its really disturbing for me as a flashgot addict
