XSS Filter on certain websites inhibiting normal usage.

Post by Aeruja »

I know that there's documentation to manually add in certain XSS filters,
in which I have done just that, despite my complete scripting newbness..
I also noticed you had recently enhanced XSS filters in your changelog,
your addon is really cool, it really opened my eyes to the other eyes of the internet.

..but I was thinking that it would be nice if people even less adequate than myself would be able to have easy access function to XSS filtering with a simple click of a button.

Such sites I have manually XSS filtered includes Facebook, fbcdn.net (also facebook).. as that was the beginning of my awareness of XSS.

I'm not sure how much credit you would give Facebook itself, but I personally do think it is fairly widespread and could probably use exemption like google has.

My problem occurred when I was loading a game up and trying to gift presents to friends,
I guess, the game server has to contact facebook's friend list, which is personal data, and then bring it back into the game, which could be considered kinda risky.

Anyways, I'm just commoner, reporting and hoping for an easy fix~

Could you please include the [NoScript XSS] lines you get in Tools|Error Console when the problem happens?
