What's "Experimental built-in profiler" in latest build?

Post by Daryn »

I was wondering if someone knows what this feature in build 2.0.9.9 does exactly?

"Experimental built-in profiler for debugging purposes."

Thanks. :)

Since the Venkman (JavaScript debugger) profiler is unreliable in many circumstance on Fx 3.6.x and unavailable on Fx 4.0, I've put a rudimentary all-JS profiler (very few lines of code) in NoScript, which can be enabled from the Error Console and may provide useful data to help diagnosing performance problems on older hardware.
