How to reset configurations

I may have changed something I should not. As flashgot does not work anymore.
Can anyone tell me how to reset the flashgot configuration? (I tired reinstalling and reinstalling, but maybe a reboot or something was needed inbetween as it installed with current configuration)

There is no "Reset" button in FlashGot (like with NoScript).

Not thinking ATM, but if you exit FF, manually edit prefs.js (found in your Profile directory), deleting all lines that start with "user_pref("flashgot." ... then restart. (Backup first.)


Does an uninstall remove pref.js related entries? Not sure? If it does, then that would do it. If not, then try the manual attack.


Otherwise, what issues do you have?

If that doesn't work maybe look in the Firefox directory and see if you can find a folder with configuration files as the plugin might have left one and thus left the directory it resides in. If that doesn't work then I would just uninstall Firefox and reinstall it.
