This problem has been around a long time, since the beginning of sticky menus.

Fx 3.6.13, NS 2.0.9.7, new profile
  1. Options->Appearance->(check full domains and full addresses)
  2. go to http://noscript.net/
  3. position the Fx window so the NS menu has room to open on the right and above the icon
  4. forbid all domains including noscript.net
  5. reopen the menu, open untrusted sub-menu (it opens to the left of the main menu, in my case)
  6. mark the bottommost item (http://noscript.net) untrusted
  7. the untrusted sub-menu remains open, but the pointer does not correspond with the selection, it's about an inch off

That's because the composition of both the menus changes.
Not sure whether this can be considered a bug.
What are you suggesting as a "fix", exactly?

The reason the cursor exists is to point directly at the target of interaction, when it doesn't, it's obviously a bug. The fix would be to have the cursor highlight and select what's directly under it, not an inch away.
