Hello,
first let me congratulate for the GREAT NoScript Plugin. And now lets make
it even better: in order to improve the understanding of "what I really do" when
allowing JScript for webpages, I would appreciate a small 'infobox' with additional
informations on the site that asks to run a JScript.
To explain my idea better: usually I block everything. Now I arrive on a site
and it does not work (this one for instance). So I look for possible scripts that
I might need to activate temporarily. Typically the list NoScript shows me looks
a bit like this:
[mysite-domain.com]
smart-ass-ADS.com
google.com
trace-stupid-people-on-the-net.com
Which one to activate? Who is who? At this stage, a litte information on "what the sites
are really about" i.e. tags like "tracking service", "ad site", "catcha service" etc. would be helpful.
Recall: the weak point of technology is the USER.
Ever better would be a fine-analysis / allowance scheme: e.g. allow the catcha script but
not the tracking part neither the ad-server and other shit of the same domain ... example
needed? I just needed to activate JS for google and informaction and recaptcha in order
to write this post! What did they spy about my browser other than furnishing a catpcha?
Have a good day! qui.sais

To access an experimental feature going into this direction, simply middle-click on a domain entry in the menu or in the whitelist list.
